Trial tests for the Construction Sector Specified Skilled Worker Assessment Test No. 1 and Test No. 2 will be conducted as follows.

Eligibility Those who are planning to take Specified skills evaluation exam for Construction Industry (No. 1 or No. 2) in Japan

Age Restriction
To take this exam, you must be 17 years of age or older on the exam date.
Indonesian nationals must be 18 years of age or older on the test date.

Nationality Restrictions
Those with Japanese nationality are not eligible to take the exam.
Implementation format CBT（Computer Based Testing）
The number of questions 1st Trial Exam 35 questions (20 theory questions + 15 practical questions)
2nd Trial Exam 45 questions (27 theory questions + 18 practical questions)
Test time 70 minutes (40 minutes theory + 30 minutes practical)

Please note that if you do not enter "JAC2025", you will be charged 1 yen for the test fee. (Updated 2/20)
Scheduling acceptance period February 19, 2025, 11:00 (JST) - March 12, 2025 (Updated 3/5)
Exam implementation period February 25, 2025 - March 17, 2025 (updated on 3/5)
・Once the capacity is reached, reservations will close without waiting for the end of the implementation period.
・If the capacity is not reached, the implementation period may be extended.
Test Result As this is a trial test, there is no pass/fail rating.
It cannot be used for applications for Specified Skilled Worker (i) /No. 2.
You will be notified of your scores for both the written and practical exams so that you can use them as a reference for understanding your level of understanding.

Specified skills evaluation exam for Construction Industry
From April 2024, in order to ensure that you have an appropriate opportunity to take the exam, it will not be possible to cancel your exam reservation once it has been booked.

You can continue to change the date, time, and location of your test up until 23:59 (Japan time) three business days before the test date.
Please note that reservations cannot be changed if there are no available seats.

*If the test date is a Saturday, Sunday, or a Japanese national holiday, you can apply up to 4 business days before the test. Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, Japanese national holidays, and the New Year's holidays.
