This exam is open to the general public for executives and employees of securities companies and banks that are members of Japan Securities Dealers Association.
To become a sales representative, you are required by law to have your name registered after getting a job at a securities company or bank, etc. Even if you pass the exam, if the registration is not completed, you will not be able to continue your sales activities as a sales representative. cannot be done.

Scheduling
- If you are an officer or employee of Japan Securities Dealers Association, or an officer or employee of a financial instruments intermediary, please apply through your association member.
- There are no age or other eligibility restrictions.
- Even after your test reservation has been accepted, the test may be rescheduled to another date and time due to problems with the computer used for the test.
- Reservations can be made from 60 days before the test date to 5 business days before the test date.
- Business days are days excluding Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays.
- We cannot respond to requests for "cancellation of test reservation," "refund of paid test fee," "change of test subject," or "change of Candidate." Please check the exam date and time carefully before making your exam reservation and paying the exam fee.
- You will not be able to make changes to Scheduling unless Test Fee has been paid.
On the day of exam date
- Reception is open from 30 minutes to 15 minutes before the start time of the exam. If you are late to the reception desk, you will not be able to take the test, so please arrive with plenty of time to spare.
- You will be required to present the designated Identification Document on the day of the test. If you cannot present it, you will not be able to take the test.
- If the "Examination Regulations" are not followed, the exam may be suspended or treated as a failure.

If you do not meet the following requirements, you will not be able to take the exam. Even if you are unable to take the test, Test Fee will not be refunded.
- Identification Document must be original and within the validity period. Electronic media are not valid.
- If Test Center reception determines that it is difficult to verify your identity due to dirt or scratches on your face photo, makeup, clothing, facial expression, etc., that Identification Document will be invalid. Please provide another valid Identification Document.
- The name on Identification Document must be the same as the name on which Scheduling was made.
Test Result
Test Result notification
After the test is completed, Test Result (pass rate) will be displayed on the screen. In addition, those who applied for the exam through Prometric website or Prometric customer service can check their pass/fail status as follows based on the correct answer rate listed in the "Examination Result Notification" emailed to them after the exam.
Correct answer rate

・Less than 70% → Fail
For those who took the exam through a financial instruments business operator, etc. that is a member of Japan Securities Dealers Association, we will notify the person in charge of human resources whether you passed or failed, so please check with the person in charge.
Retake Policy
If you fail the exam (excluding absenteeism), you will not be able to take any exams sponsored by Japan Securities Dealers Association until 30 days have passed from the day after the exam date. you can't.
If it is later determined that you took the test during the above waiting period, the test will be treated as a failure even if you achieved a passing score, and a separate waiting period will be established.
